Description : La XI Región Aysén (o Aisen) del General Carlos Ibáñez del Campo es una de las quince regiones en las que se encuentra dividido Chile. Limita al norte con la X Región de Los Lagos, al sur con la XII Región de Magallanes y de la Antártica Chilena, al este con la República Argentina y al oeste con el Océano Pacífico. Debido a su largo nombre, la región es simplemente conocida como XI Región de Aisén o XI Región de Aysén, utilizando en este último caso la escritura utilizada en general por sus habitantes.

Cuenta con una superficie de 108.494,4 km² y una población estimada al año 2006 de 100.417 habitantes. La región está compuesta por las provincias de Aysén, Capitán Prat, Coihaique, General Carrera y la capital regional es la ciudad de Coihaique.
